The Atlanta Children's Shelter Needs Your Vote


The Atlanta Children’s Shelter has been selected as a finalist in the 2013 “Technology Jumpstart Your Nonprofit”. 

On February 4th, 2013 the Atlanta Children’s Shelter was announced as one of the finalist for the “Technology Jumpstart your Nonprofit” grant through Milner, Inc.  Beginning February 11th, all finalists will participate in a city wide election to determine the winner of a $20,000 technology upgrade.  For the Atlanta Children’s Shelter, a technology upgrade would dramatically improve its ability to provide the critical programs and services designed to guide homeless families with young children to self-sufficiency.  With programs like; Hire Up Employment, Early Childhood Education, and free on-site healthcare services, the Atlanta Children’s Shelter is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness for homeless families in metro Atlanta.  The Atlanta Children’s Shelter has recently been awarded Charity Navigators 4 star Award.  This honor is awarded to those organizations who demonstrate the highest level of stewardship and organizational transparency.  Currently, the Atlanta Children’s Shelter designates 70 cents of every dollar donated to the programs and services that assist families in obtaining self-sufficiency. 

To vote for the Atlanta Children’s Shelter please scan our QR Code below and visit our voting site.  On the Atlanta Children’s Shelter site visitors will have two voting options.  The first option is to “vote for free” by clicking on the “vote for free” link in the bottom left corner. The second option is a “donate to vote”, for every $5.00 that is donated one vote cast for the Atlanta Children’s Shelter.  To “donate to vote” just click on the word donate, all proceeds will benefit the Atlanta Children’s Shelter.
