70+ Dogs Rescued from Hoarders
The Atlanta Humane Society in Midtown is caring for the animals.
A Midtown animal rescue group has saved more than 70 dogs from hoarders.
The Atlanta Humane Society, located at 10th Street and Howell Mill Road, recently rescued 77 dogs from hoarders in Alabama and south Georgia, 11Alive reported.
The dogs are being treated at the Humane Society and should be up for adoption later this week.
One of the rescues was coordinated with Animal Planet as part of the television series "Confessions." The show tells the stories of people who have more pets than they can handle.
The Humane Society has worked with Animal Planet on several episodes this year.
