Al Bartell Running for Atlanta Mayor
His website says he's previously run for state senator, Public Service commissioner and lieutenant governor.
Al Bartell is running for mayor of Atlanta in November, according to his website.
Incumbent Mayor Kasim Reed announced last fall he'll seek a second term.
Chef Paul Luna also says he's running.
Bartell's website says he actually announced his candidacy in November 2010. He calls himself an independent candidate, saying the two-party system hasn't solved any of Atlanta's problems.
According to his website, Bartell, 57, grew up in Pamplico, S.C., and graduated from St. Leo University. He says he's previously run for state senator, Public Service commissioner and lieutenant governor.
