Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber to hold Job Expo

The Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce will hold a community expo with dozens of companies this Sunday at the Georgia International Convention Center.

The Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce will hold its third Community Expo on Sunday.

The expo, which runs from 1 to 5 p.m., will be held at the Georgia International Convention Center. The purpose of the job expo, which began in 2006, is to feature businesses that are supportive of the gay and lesbian community. Job seekers will have the opportunity to network and present resumes to the companies.

"It's a perfect chance to have your resume in hand and submit it in person to these bigger companies that are very supportive of our community," said Allison McDonald, president of the chamber.
