Atlantic Station Seeks Street Performers
Local artists are encouraged to showcase their talents on the streets of the mixed-use development.
Atlantic Station is looking for talented people to perform on the streets.
A spokeswoman for the mixed-use development sent out a call for artists on Monday. They are searching for local artists and creative street performers who want to show off their skills at Atlantic Station. The artists also would attend local events and festivals to help promote Atlantic Station.
"Artists and performers at Atlantic Station are part of our effort to improve the guest experience and offer a fun, fresh and unique atmosphere that welcomes the thousands of young, creative consumers in the neighborhoods and universities around us," said a release from spokeswoman Jenna Thomas. "It’s all part of the evolution of Atlantic Station. Join the evolution!"

ATD is a positive rap group consisting of three handsome young men from the Atlanta. ATD stands for Authorized To Destroy negative stereotypes. Their lyrics are so positive and upbeat that they have written a wonderful theme song for Atlanta called "Atlanta Smiles." The song highlights all of Atlanta's hot spots and it mentions Atlantic Station in the lyrics. Our fan base extends from young to old, black to white, and English to Italian.
