Atlantic Station to Launch 1/2 Street Market

New open-air market begins Saturday, June 11.

Looking for a new shopping experience?

This Saturday, June 11, Atlantic Station is launching a new open-air market called the 1/2 Street Market.

The market will be held  the second weekend of each month -- on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m, and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The market will feature up to 30 vendors who sell local food and produce, handmade crafts and one-of-a-kind art and gifts. It will be located on 17 ½ Street in Atlantic Station between District and Atlantic avenues.

If you’d like to become a vendor at the ½ Street Market, contact Molly Maloney at molly.maloney@naproperties.com.

I'm curious about this... Do they have a permit for this event?

Liz, I don't know if they do, but I can ask. My hunch is that a permit is not needed since it is private property. But let me see what I can find out. Thanks for reading.

I found out about the 1/2 street market from this article a few months ago...and just had a chance to check it out today. There were 12 vendors...not 30. Most of it was re-sell jewelry...not "one-of-a-kind handmade arts and gifts."
very disappointing. I would not recommend it.

VERY DISAPPOINTING.. they promised, handcrafted items, artist and fresh produce, what we got was a re-sell flea market, and I've learned that they are moving them into these outdoor vending kioski. GROSS!... they have those at underground. I guess what they are modeling themselves after.
