The bridge at Monroe Drive and Virginia Avenue was cluttered with shopping carts and garbage before a cleanup in 2011.

A cleanup along the BeltLine section from Park Drive northward alongside Piedmont Park is scheduled for Sunday, June 24, at 10 a.m.
This will include the bamboo grove behind Orme Circle.
This cleaning session is organized by the group that adopted this BeltLine stretch.
This area will not have trail construction for at least a year, but it needs to be kept clean in the meantime.
Bring your own gloves.
Parking is available at Amsterdam Walk. Be sure to leave a note in your window stating "BeltLine Cleanup" to avoid getting towed.

do you have any more info about where everyone is meeting, if you need to rsvp, etc?

From the email announcing the cleanup: "We will meet at 10 a.m. at the entryway behind Amsterdam Walk. If parking in this lot, please put a paper on your windshield stating "BeltLine Cleanup" so the Amsterdam Walk security will know you will be gone at noon or shortly thereafter." No need to RSVP.
