Celebrity Chef Alton Brown’s Westside “Good Eats” Studio Sold

Bull Realty arranged $1.67 million sale of the office loft/creative space to Reliant Technologies.

The studio where celebrity chef Alton Brown’s popular Food Network’s TV show “Good Eats” was filmed was recently sold to Reliant Technologies, which will use the almost 17,000-square-foot space for its corporate headquarters.

Bull Realty negotiated the $1.67 million sale of the office loft/creative space located at 1371 Southland Circle on Atlanta's westside. Built in 1990, the property is zoned Flexible I-2 (Industrial), allowing for a variety of studio, loft-office and showroom uses.

Brown no longer needed the space, as he is now shooting most of his TV shows in New York or Los Angeles.

Daniel Latshaw, Bull Realty Partner, represented Brown in the transaction. An in-town commercial broker, Latshaw also represented the celebrity chef in the 2004 purchase of the northwest Atlanta property, which was renovated the following year.

“The offering received strong interest from studios, special-event companies and loft-office users,” Latshaw said in a release.
