Congrats to Amy and Jaclyn for some very innovative reporting to inform the thousands of folks who were not in attendance. I am not a very good note taker, so glad you were on duty to capture all of the words spoken. I appreciate that you did not add any editorial comments - just the facts as they were presented.

John, after just reading your neighborhood safety report from today (these are always excellent, and much appreciated!), I find myself thinking more about your comment here. Your neighborhood safety reports have a rich mix of facts and your own editorial comments. While I wouldn't change a thing about your crime and safety reports, I'd be interested in hearing your perspective for why you choose to mix fact and editorial (perfectly okay with me!) in your updates... yet you seem to feel that others shouldn't do so. Care to elaborate?

Really great to see detailed coverage from these meetings. I'd like to see more analysis and insights from your coverage of meetings like this. Anyone can attend a public meeting and report the facts - not much skill needed for that other than being able to listen and type fast. I'd be interested in your analysis of what was discussed. What does it mean for residents of the neighborhoods you cover? And invite others to join the discussion in the comments section, with their analysis.

Thanks for your input, David. I always appreciate hearing more from neighbors about what you all want to see on the site.
