A new restaurant is planned for 900 Monroe Drive in Midtown, according a permit filed early this month with the city of Atlanta's Bureau of Planning. The application says that La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant plans to replace the now shuttered Silver Grill, near Grady High School. The space has been used as a restaurant since 1945, according to the application. Construction can't start until the city approves the permit, which requests an addition for outdoor seating.
