Midtown Restaurants Coming & Going

Firehouse Subs shuts its doors; Fins sports lounge and seafood grill preparing to open near 12th and Crescent

In Midtown Atlanta, the revolving door of restaurants coming and going continues even on a holiday weekend.

In this case, Firehouse Subs, located at 860 Peachtree Street at the Spire Condominiums, has shuttered its doors. The signage has been removed and the windows are currently covered in brown paper.

And while you might not be able to order up a delicious Hook & Ladder Sub anymore, you could go next door and step inside the two-month old Senor Patron and go for a fajita and margarita.

In a press release, Fig Jam representatives announced they are gearing up for the move with a new chef and menu. Fig Jam, which is operated by C+M Gastronomy Group, which also runs and on the Midtown Mile, has appointed Andrew Thoms as chef de cuisine.

Fig Jam’s fully revamped menu showcases American cuisine with touches of global influence thanks to C+M Gastronomy Group owners, who hail from Italy. For more information or reservations, visit www.figjamatlanta.com or call (404) 724-9100.
