Neighborhoods Donate $7K to Inman Middle Technology
Money earmarked for buying and installing electronic teaching technology in the new trailers housing seventh-grade students at Inman Middle School
Seven neighborhood associations and groups donated a total of $7,100 to the Inman Technology Foundation this month to buy and install teaching technology at Inman Middle School.
The money is earmarked for smart teaching boards in the new trailers that house seventh-graders at Inman Middle School.
Groups from the following neighborhoods contributed to the donation: Candler Park, the Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, Lake Claire, Poncey-Highland, Virginia-Highland and Morningside.

What is up with having classes in a trailer? Is this a temporary measure due to overcrowding? I am happy to hear that neighborhood groups are donating $ for technology in these trailers, but what is the long term plan? Also, these trailers are more susceptible to vandalism and theft.
