The Atlanta Department of Public Works has temporarily closed Peachtree Street from 10th Street to 12th and 11th Street from Juniper Street to Crescent Avenue due to emergency traffic signal repairs.

Repairs began late Friday afternoon, and the city said those portions of Peachtree will be closed approximately for one day.

The city recommended drivers use the following detours:

Detour route for northbound traffic
• Left on 10th Street
• Right on W Peachtree
• Right on 14th
• Left on Peachtree

Detour route for southbound traffic
• Left on 14th Street
• Right on Juniper Street
• Right on 10th Street
• Left on Peachtree Street
