Police Name Replacement for Unit that Raided Atlanta Eagle bar
The Red Dog Unit of the Atlanta Police Department is being replaced by a new tactical unit.
The Atlanta Police Department has selected a replacement for the Red Dog Unit, the police unit that raided the Atlanta Eagle bar in 2009, according to the Ramage Report.
According to a report from Stephanie Ramage, the new unit will be called APEX, which stands for Atlanta Proactive Enforcement & Interdiction.
Police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones confirmed the name had changed. She said police will hold an event to formerly announce the new unit, but that she didn't have a date yet.
Police announced in February that the Red Dog Unit would be disbanded and replaced. The new unit "will be a highly-trained, competent force,” Police Chief George Turner said in February.

As long as a NAME change doesn't take the place of a Attitude change I think it is good.
