Patch wants to help keep Midtown connected. That's why we encourage you to post information about Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa events and activities on the website.

This can include Thanksgiving luncheons at your kid's school, fund-raising activities for churches and civic groups, holiday pageants or neighborhood celebrations. The good thing is that it's all free--and easy.

For example, a representative of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta recently posted here at Midtown Patch info about the largest Christmas parade in the Southeast. The Children's Christmas Parade on Dec. 1, 2012 begins at Peachtree Street near Baker Street in downtown Atlanta. The event is free and open to the public. For those seeking front-row access, reserved bleacher seats are now on sale for $15.
