Romney makes Atlanta campaign stops
GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney made a Wednesday afternoon appearance in Buckhead before heading to Midtown for an evening fundraiser.
After losing all three Republican voting contests Tuesday night, GOP presidential candidate made the first of two Atlanta appearances Wednesday afternoon at the Bottega by Stones International showroom in Buckhead.
Before several hundred enthusiastic supporters - but not a dozen or so Newt Gingrich supporters who were not allowed in - the former Massachusetts governor lashed out at President Barack Obama and his GOP rivals.
After his approximately 30-minute speech, Romney departed for the W Hotel Midtown for a $2,500 per person VIP reception and a $1,000 per person general reception.
