I'm not a fan of sagging pants but this generation does not equate it to prison so we can stop with that argument. For them it's only a fashion statement. I'm also not sure how not sagging equals safe unless we are going to address the elephant in the room....what group of people generally wear their pants this way.

Saggy pants is not my bag at all, but then again neither are MANY fashion trends. The fact that people are making laws or regulations against something they simply don't like is absolutely absurd. What's next? Women mandated to wear skirts, not cut their hair & no makeup? Get over it. Until the ass-crack hangs out, there's nothing wrong with it. And if you want to legislate/outlaw/make rules against ass-cracks, have at it and start shaking down some of the women (mostly) who walk around with a few inches of it hanging out. This is one step away from making women wear Burqas.

Hey folks, this is not a law, its a code of conduct on private property.

People in my neighborhood who wear saggy pants are "thug wanna-bes." They sell drugs to minors and others, walk pit bulls on heavy chain "leashes," breed the pits for dog fights, and have sex with prostitutes.

But perhaps not everyone who wears saggy pants acts this way....just the people in my neighborhood. Let capitalism provide the answer....exclusion from private property should change behavior and psychology.

Good riddance, people that wear their pants that low just want attention and have a real type of entitlement attitude... I almost punched a couple of a couple of saggy pants wearing individuals at Fox Sports Grill because they were being out of order and looking for trouble. Mark Toro has done an amazing job in making Atlantic Station a better and safer place...

You don't have to be a certain race to sagg your pants. I have seen all races follow this "trend" and I personally don't like it but hey, that's their prerogative, I'm not one to judge. Atlantic Station is private property. The same as any restaurant that requires a coat and tie. People who like to wear their pants around their knees can choose to show Atlantic Station how they feel and not go. Underwear says it all.....under.....wear.

I will visit--and patronize--Atlantic Station more now that this rule is in place.

A few days ago I ate at Atlantic Grill at Atlantic Station. On one side of the menu there is a list of rules one being that you have to provide your credit card to the server before you get your food if you elect to sit on the patio. I find it sad that they are having such trouble with people eating and then running out on the check.

I like it. It's supposed to be a classy place. You should dress the part. Those losers can look like bum bitches elsewhere.

Legally Atlantic Station is a part of the city of Atlanta. Therefore since the city does NOT have an ordinance against saggy pants. Atlantic station can NOT impose such a band. However the establishments WITHIN Atlantic Station CAN because each business can refuse service to patrons as long as it is NOT against federal laws. He should sue...The law is the law! What's next, banning women showing cleavage, calling it saggy shirts?

Whatever CHANEL, you ghetto fools already ruined Underground Atlanta and you're not going to claim Atlantic Station next. Get over it and nobody wants to see your homeboys underwear.

Women will never be banned from showing too much cleavage, thong, or crack for that matter because sex sells. If there were a group that should be cited for exposure, I think females definitely outnumber males. The guys don't actually show skin (unless you're a plumber). However you will see females dressed provocatively on a regular basis at Atlantic Station. For those of you not starving for attention and truly thinking all that sag their pants are attempting to be some type of thug, I doubt Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, or the like sagged their pants. Today's youth have a different outlook as a whole. For many of them that's the only "fashion" statement they know of. For those raised in the skinny jean era, that's their thing. I hate repeating myself for the non-readers, but I don't support sagging. I don't think it's fair equating "safe" with whether or not someone's pants sag. But if we're talking safety, this is a form of profiling. I realize Atlantic Station is privately owned and they are attempting to pull in a certain class of people. You can train your sons and daughters not to dress a certain way, wear makeup, etc....but they do eventually do their own thing when they're around their friends.

Unfortunately, this is one step away from more than a firm "pull them up". As an ordinance, it becomes a gateway to sagging pants being blown out of proportion and becoming an incident on the front page of a newspaper. I appreciate those who are here to serve and protect, but unfortunately I've witnessed those abuse that role as well.

Time for a class-action lawsuit if a male test subject has saggy pants with no underwear and showing butt cleavage, and then is expelled, but female test subjects are there with saggy shirts and show plenty of breast cleavage but are not expelled. Double sexist standard there?

For the person that mentioned that Atlantic Station is legally part of the city of Atlanta - she is completely wrong. The people that wear their pants low have two choices: 1. follow the rules or 2. get out and never come back... Women should be allowed to wear what ever they want except the hookers that used to hang at the Lobby Bar before it was raided...

There would be nothing better than to see all types of people hanging at Atlantic Station having fun... With the upcoming additions of the Yardhouse and Meehans along with the bar at the Lobby; I believe it will make up a great mix of people... I dated a girl at A-Station for 4 years and could never get my friends to join us for drinks there... The Saggy Pants group should someone where else for fun perhaps Clayton County? Or okay maybe I am kidding about that... but I almost punched a couple of the Saggy group for being rude and disrespectful!

People will focus on what they want to focus on. A few statements have been made about rude/disrespectful people. I'm looking at the whole picture and obnoxious does not have a uniform. I could say the same about guys I've encountered dressed in business attire that were there to 'unwind' but I'm not going to assume all are the same. Nor I'm I going to use violence to deal with a group of people I deem inappropriate. Just food for thought.....everyone have a great weekend.

Just to clear the air, i do believe in equal rights, regarding the issue on the way you choose to wear your clothes. Im a security officer at atlantic station, although i may not get to witness someone getting told off or harassed by a fellow officer i do believe that all of that could be avoided. Look at the property itself, its very classy, i dont think that anyone should be allowed to reveal any body parts its a sure sign of disrespecting yourself. So thats how i feel hate it or love it.

Im not the one to shake anyone down.....I do security in the buildings before you enter the station. I agree with the fact that some security personnel take the job to far but its private property!!!! and the owners or owner has the right to refuse to let a certain type of individuals in. So whether or not you choose to abide by the rules its your choice.
