Seeing Stars: Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock Shoot Film in Midtown

Filming for "What to Expect When You're Expecting" was again in Midtown on Thursday.

This time, big-name actors and production crews were at Smith's Olde Bar near Ansley Mall in Midtown. Patch caught Jennifer Lopez and Chris Rock at the well-loved music club that's dark, spacious but a bit dingy inside. 

The movie, based on the 500-week New York Times best-selling book by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Maze, has a star-studded cast including Lopez, Rock, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Banks and Dennis Quaid to name a few.

Filming will continue in the metro Atlanta area for the next few months on the Lions Gate film directed by Kirk Jones of "Nanny McPhee" fame.

According to Mike Smith of the WTE production team, the film is contributing close to $100,000 per day into the Atlanta economy and is a win-win situation for everyone involved.
