Suspects wanted in Ansley Park/Atlantic Station car break-ins
Atlanta Police needs assistance from the public in identifying a band of alleged car break-in suspects
According to the Midtown Ponce Security Alliance (MPSA), the Atlanta Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a quartet of suspects seen breaking into vehicles Sunday in the Ansley Park area and near the Atlantic Station Target.
The suspects are identified in surveillance camera pictures as two older black males and two younger black males. According to the MPSA, it appears that the older males stay in a Red Dodge Charger while the younger males jump out of the back seat and break into vehicles.
The vehicle in question has a drive out tag and may be a newer 2011 or 2012 model. Anyone that comes in contact with these subjects is asked to contact the APD at 404-658-7058.
Patch has submitted a request with the APD for additional information on the alleged incidents.

The vechile in the picture is in the driveway between 223 and 225 13th St all the time along with numerous other high end late model cars. The traffic in and out of both these properties is 24/7. The police, code enforcement have been called multiple times with no response. They have been abandoned for years but still half a dozen people live in 223.

Call the Mayor -between his trips to China and Paris maybe he can pay attention to the local crime problems maybe the Beltline ought to have a police force paid by the TAD

I can't believe these guys risk going to prison for years for an iphone or a laptop. I mean, what's a laptop on the black market 50 bucks. After watching a few episodes of "The First 48", I'm not surprised. These guys kill for less.

Two policemen were looking around this afternoon and talking with a neighbor but several hours later and 45 minutes before the school bus stopped 250 feet from the house at drug transaction took place in broad daylight! Code Enforcement needs to be able to go into these supposed to be abandoned houses and buildings. Knocking on the door(s) with no answer isn't not effective.

Do a title search and see who has title to the property , if its a lender proceed to discuss with exactly what you want done - if its a absentee landlord and the property is abandoned and people are being victimized by people who hang- out in the property and the ADP is not responding -shine a little newspaper light on the situation and pressure the Mayor and your councilperson for action they are both up for reelection and are replaceable -all politics are local
