The City of Atlanta has advised that a portion of 8^th Street in Midtown will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 4 for the removal of a tree.

A crane will be utilized to remove a tree located at 364 8^th St. that will result in the street being closed between Glendale Terrace and Durant Place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Westbound detour:

Left on Durant Place

Right on 7^th Street

Right on Glendale Terrace

Left back on 8^th Street

Eastbound detour:

Right on Glenwood Terrace

Left on 7^th Street

Left on Durant Place

Right back on 8^th Street
