Uncle Maddio's to Open in Ansley Mall
Pizzeria is replacing Boardwalk Burgers and Fries.
Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint, which is beefing its presence in metro Atlanta with a slew of new locations, anticipates spending $130,000 to build its outlet at Ansley Mall.
The Buckhead-based chain is taking over the now-closed Boardwalk Burgers and Fries and will spend the money to build a replacement structure to the 2,086-square-foot facility, What Now Atlanta reported.
Boardwalk Burgers came to Ansley Mall in 2011.
The Ansley Mall site is "a great loction and a great market," Roger Wagerman, who handles franchisee operations for the chain, told Midtown Patch.

God, I miss Boardwalk Burgers! Great burgers, great shakes & great people. My weekends are not the same without them. I'm bummed...not another pizza place???

Boardwalk Burgers was a poor imitation of Five Guys, it was obviuos they would not make it. The $12 chicken place will fold too. Maddios pizza is very low end food, on par with Dominos or Stevie B's, bland junk food

Krugmanner I couldn't disagree more. Maddios is nothing like Stevie Bs. Have you ever eaten there? They serve fresh veg and free range meat and have vegan and whole wheat options! This place is on another level. I will be a regular for sure!

I agree with Ron...this place is awesome and will be a great addition to Ansley since we don't have a pizza place there! CAn't wait till it opens!
