Video of Midtown Streaker Available Online
Footage of a man being arrested in May for public indecency can be seen on YouTube.
Since being uploaded on Aug. 2, the video of a naked man being arrested for public indecency in Midtown has about 40 views on YouTube.
The man, who was arrested May 9 at Peachtree and 12th streets, was captured on video by Midtown Blue, a public safety force of off-duty Atlanta police officers.
"He just took his clothes off and got in the middle of the intersection," Col. Wayne Mock, public safety manager for Midtown Blue, said in May following the arrest.
The video shows the man completely naked and wiggling his body in the middle of the street, near the Loews Atlanta Hotel. His clothes were left in a pile in the middle of the street.
Officers covered the man in garbage bags before placing him in custody. The man was transported to the psychiatric ward at Grady Memorial Hospital.

If you can get past the first 45 seconds, where it appears a Monkey was operating the camera, this video gets pretty watchable. I witnessed this "event" start to finish from my Park Central balcony. What was most interesting is that the "Peachtree Stripper" had an all over tan, wihout nary a tanline.
For you trivia buffs, the location where the streaker was finally take down by police was almost the exact same spot where Margaret Mitchell was fatally struck by a taxi cab in 1949. I doubt that Peg would be amused.

The MORONS in blue! It takes 5 squad cars to take the man into custody?! To make it even easier for the donut bingers, is that the man voluntarily laid down on the street to be handcuffed!! I'm surprised one of them didn't walk over and shoot him in the head!!!
