Former Atlantic Center Plaza Owner Reacquires Property

Crocker Partners previously sold the plaza in 2005.

The Atlantic Center Plaza in Midtown is once again owned by Crocker Partners. City Biz List Atlanta reports that Crocker, working with the Siguler Guff & Company, LP-managed Distressed Real Estate Opportunities Fund, has acquired the building, which has a half-million square feet and 23 stories. Through the Crocker and distressed real estate fund joint venture, the building was recapitalized. Crocker sold Atlantic Center Plaza in 2005, according to the article. With the reacquisition, Crocker has nearly two million square feet of properties in Atlanta.

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill Closes in Midtown

Florida-based fast-casual Mexican concept lasted less than 14 months in space that was previous home to The Bake Shop.

The restaurant changeover at the corner of Peachtree and 8th streets continues as Lime Fresh Mexican Grill has shuttered its doors less than 14 months after opening in the space that formally occupied The Bake Shop at 903 Peachtree. A sign posted on the door announced the closing of the Florida-based fast-casual Mexican concept that opened for business in late March 2012. According to some on Twitter Monday, the sudden closing caught employees by surprise. It marks the second closure for a Lime Fresh in the metro area after the Peachtree Hills location closed in January. Number of Midtown Residential Units Sold Up 35 Percent Over 12 Months

Brash Coffee Coming to Howell Mill Road

The shop will share space with Environment Furniture.

What Now Atlanta reports that Brash Coffee is coming to 1170 Howell Mill Rd. soon. The space is also home to Environment Furniture, which will share the 700 square feet with Brash, the article states. The location is in White Provisions District. On its website, Brash Coffee writes that its coffee "is sourced directly from farmers or grown and processed under our direct supervision. Our coffee is always paid for fairly and roasted fresh in small batches. Every bag of coffee has a personal touch that goes all the way back to the farm."
