What Now Atlanta reports that Brash Coffee is coming to 1170 Howell Mill Rd. soon. The space is also home to Environment Furniture, which will share the 700 square feet with Brash, the article states. The location is in White Provisions District. On its website, Brash Coffee writes that its coffee "is sourced directly from farmers or grown and processed under our direct supervision. Our coffee is always paid for fairly and roasted fresh in small batches. Every bag of coffee has a personal touch that goes all the way back to the farm."

One of several projects planned for the rapidly developing Westside area.
In October, Walton Communities broke ground on a 4-story, 250-unit apartment project at 790 Huff Road at Foster Street — near the Goat Farm Arts Center. Walton Westside, as the project is called, is slated to open in the spring of 2014. Immovable Media captured the work, thus far.

You know that bursting-at-the-seams rush of excitement you get when you discover a little-known eatery? The kind you can hardly contain to the point where you're texting your friends with still-greasy fingers? We recently received an e-mail in that spirit from a neighbor: An excellent hidden gem found right at our doorstep, Chateau de Saigon, just north of the intersection of Dresden on Buford Hwy (on the left). The restaurant itself is sparsely decorated and sits at the end unit of a small strip mall but the food is excellent, a combination of French and S.E. Asian cuisines. And its affordable. Shop is to take the spot where Great American Coin Laundry store is now.
Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches, which already has 30 stores in Georgia, plans to open two spots in Midtown. The company will open a store on Monroe Drive near Ansley Mall in what is now the Great American Coin Laundry store, according to Tomorrow's News Today. The other Midtown store will be on Peachtree Street in Pershing Point Plaza where the former My Friend's Place sandwich shop is, TNT reported. Read the full story here.
