Returning to Piedmont Park for its sixth year on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16, 2012, the Atlanta Arts Festival will once again present two-days of nonstop fun for art lovers and event enthusiasts alike. Open to all ages, the annual free event features a juried show of 200 of the country’s finest painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craftsman, glass blowers and more. Bringing together outstanding artists with Atlanta’s expansive art buying community, this year’s festival also boasts interactive learning experiences and demonstrations, live music and entertainment, delicious food and beverages, kids activities, a commemorative poster, and much more.

More About Piedmont Park
Piedmont Park is the largest green space in Atlanta and is also one of Midtown's most historic sites. The park features a lake, meadow, dog park and stunning views of Midtown's skyline. Visitors can enjoy a number of recreational activities, including swimming, tennis, volleyball, bocce, baseball, cycling and rollerblading throughout the park's 189-acres. There are multiple areas with grills and benches for picnics, as well as multiple playgrounds for children. Though there is a new parking deck for the Park and neighboring facilities, visitors are still encouraged to arrive by foot or public transportation.
