ALERT: We just received a press release from LifeSouth indicating that 3 blood types (O-, O+ and A-) are currently at emergency levels. Please consider stopping by and donating blood on Sunday!
"While we are gaining ground in supply levels, we are still at emergency levels for blood types O-negative and positive and A-negative. We don’t use the word emergency lightly, to us it means our hospitals have supplies for only a couple of days, and LifeSouth doesn’t have the inventory to resupply them.” --LifeSouth Vice President of Operations, J.B. Kick off the new year by giving the gift of life!
Join us as we partner with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers of Georgia to collect blood donations at Grace. LifeSouth will bring the technicians, equipment, snacks and refreshments. All you do is show up with your sleeve rolled up!
Blood donations to LifeSouth stay in local communities, serving more than 30 hospitals in the area.
Bonus: During the months of Dec., Jan. and Feb. BloodSouth is raffling off an I-Pad mini to 3 lucky donors.
