The Annual Pink Ribbon Walk is one of Sisters...By Choice main fundraisers. The mission of SBC is to significantly reduce the incidents and severity of breast cancer by delivering innovative programs that will increase breast cancer awareness, education, and early detection; provide treatment programs for the under served and at-risk community members; establish a network of support group chapters.
Onsite registration for the walk/run and check-in begins at 7:00 am. Start time is scheduled for 8:00 am. Prior to the event, walkers/runners will begin staging in the Meadow for warm up exercises.
If you are the largest fundraiser, you will be eligible to win two FREE round trip airline tickets to anywhere in the continental US. The winning team will also receive a special tent; and recognition prior to the start of the event.
Please note that only donations received on or before July 19th will be included in the fundraising total that will determine the grand prize winner.

More About Piedmont Park
Piedmont Park is a public park that offers sports activities, community programs, educational activities and recreational programs. The park is approximately two miles long and is recognized as an urban green space. The space is equipped with benches, swings, water fountains, trash cans, grills, athletic fields, enhanced playgrounds, a state-of-the-art irrigation system, gazebo and aquatic center. There also are a small and large dog park, picnic shelters and a visitor center. Piedmont Park provides park tours, fitness programs, fresh produce markets, birthday parties, cooking workshops and day camps. Additional services include corporate event space rentals, catering, beverage options, pool showers and locker rooms, jogging paths, bird watching and other activities.
