SCAD offers continuing education workshops and classes in Atlanta, Savannah and online quarterly throughout the year. SCAD's Continuing Education is open to youth through adults who want to experience SCAD's high standards in art and design education and outstanding facilities.

Registration for fall quarter courses and workshops are now available at www.scad.edu/ce. 

  • Educator seminars and teen-specific courses are available throughout the year. 
  • Custom classes/workshops and one-on-one sessions are available upon request by phone or email.
  • Sample courses include:  Sequential Art, Fashion Illustration, Painting Open Studio, Photoshop 101, Printmaking:  Silkscreen, Adobe InDesign, Fashion Forecasting and Trends, Change Your Life with Feng Shui, Introduction to Art Therapy, Basic Drawing:  Learn the Techniques, Sew Modern:  Advanced Sewing Open Studio, among others.

Nearly 2,000 students attend the Atlanta campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design, a comprehensive art and design university. The private, non-profit accredited institution focuses on preparing talented students for professional careers, emphasizing learning through individual attention.

Located near the Woodruff Arts Center and High Museum of Art, the facilities include a 312,000-square-foot art and design center with classrooms, galleries, digital labs, library, dining hall, student lounge and fitness center. Additional facilities include two residence halls, several galleries, an acclaimed sculpture studio, a cultural arts and writing center in historic Ivy Hall, and a 60,000-square-foot digital media center.

In addition to 17 other programs, printmaking, sculpture and television producing are offered exclusively at the campus. Intercollegiate athletics and signature events, such as Fashion Seen, are offered, as well as student media groups and a variety of student organizations.
