Held in conjunction with the Atlanta Half Marathon, the Thanksgiving Day 5K, Mashed Potato Mile and Gravy Gallop offer runners, walkers and kids not participating in the half marathon another option to participate in the morning’s festivities.
Start Times:
Thanksgiving Day 5K (ages 8 and up) – 8:00 a.m.
Gravy Gallop (ages 6 and under) – 9:45 a.m.*
Mashed Potato Mile (ages 7-12) – 10:00 a.m.*
*Parents of Gravy Gallop participants will be allowed to run with their children (however, no baby strollers are allowed in the races). No adults will be allowed in the Mashed Potato Mile.

Turner Field is home to the major league baseball team, the Braves. It was opened in 1997.
