The Shakespeare Tavern is located within an old-fashioned playhouse that stands out from the rest of the buildings on Peachtree Street. The tavern has been located in Midtown since 1990.
The Tavern serves a variety of pub style food including an assorted bread basket, soups, cheese plates, sandwiches, and shepherds pie. It also sells a small selection of liquor, beer and wine, as well as soda and other non-alcoholic drinks. On Fridays, Shakespeare Tavern offers half off pints of beer.
