NFTC Study Tour to Switzerland

Interlaken 1stJuly: 4,967 registered hotels or hostels, offering a total of 240,000 beds in 128,000 rooms amounting to a total of 38.8 million lodging nights in Switzerland. The total financial volume associated with tourism, including transportation, is estimated to CHF 35.5 billion informed Sandeep Marwah Managing Director to National Federation of Tourism And Transport Cooperatives India Limited during his stay at Lindner Grand Hotel at Interlaken at Switzerland.
Interlaken lies in the Bernese Oberland on an alluvial plain, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. The vacation destination, which is presided over by the three mighty mountains, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, is the starting point for numerous activities. As a vacation destination and convention location of international importance, Interlaken is an ideal starting point for countless excursions.
“We have yet to bring in attraction to our tourist destinations in India so that we can attract local as well as foreign tourist to better numbers during the year” said Sandeep Marwah who has been on study tour to Switzerland.
