North Atlanta Rotary Club Collects $27,000 in Home Medical Equipment for FODAC

On Saturday, August 24, the Rotary Club of North Atlanta sponsored a home medical equipment drive to benefit Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC).  In just over four hours, members of the Dunwoody-based club collected over 100 pieces of equipment, including a power chair, six wheelchairs, 2 hospital beds and 26 pairs of crutches. The total value of the equipment donated to FODAC was over $27,000.

Members staffed several collection sites across North Atlanta from Marietta to Duluth, as well as scheduled pick-ups from residences and businesses.

FODAC is a non-profit organization providing more than $10 million annually in refurbished home medical equipment (HME) and home modifications in Georgia and across the United States, all at little or no cost to the recipients.
