Red Bull Curates: The Canvas Cooler Project

As part of a seven-city U.S. tour, Red Bull Curates: The Canvas Cooler Project will stop in Atlanta on Thursday, October 17, 2013, and pair 20 hand-picked artists with venue owners from some of the city’s hottest local bars, lounges and restaurants. Atlanta’s top up and coming street artists will be given a one-day challenge to transform a blank canvas-wrapped Red Bull Cooler into an inspired work of art customized for permanent display at each venue.  The art created will be exhibited in a one-night only public showcase at the Westside Cultural Arts Center where attending guests and a panel of curatorial judges will vote on each piece, sending two artists, and possibly a third, to the SCOPE Art Show taking place during Art Basel week in Miami in December.
