Massive Tree Crashes into Midtown Apartment Building

If you have any photos of fallen trees or storm damage, please share them with fellow Patch readers by uploading them to this article.

It wasn't until about 5 p.m. on Sunday that 13th Street was reopened. The street had been blocked for most of Sunday from Juniper to Piedmont due to a fallen massive tree, which crashed through an apartment building and fell onto a truck.

According to WSB-TV, no one was living at the residence and no one was hurt, but a woman parking her car nearby had a close call as the tree barely missed her.

Georgia Power contract crews were out working to restore electricity.
