Ansley Park Shell Gas Station Update - Liquor License

The following update is from the Ansley park Civic Association, and was printed in their latest online newsletter.  Midtown Patch is sharing this info for all of our Midtown Patch readers.

Mayor Kasim Reed did listen to the requests of 500 neighbors and remanded the liquor license request for the convenience store at 1521 Peachtree Street back to the Atlanta License Review Board on September 10.  The license was granted, but the store agreed not to sell liquor between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.

Many thanks to the Neighborhood Block Captains and other neighbors who worked behind the scene to make this happen.  We are very grateful to The Georgia Trust, Sun Trust Bank, First Church of Christ Scientist, First Presbyterian Church and Peachtree Christian Church.

Please email Mayor Kasim Reed, Alex Wan and Tyler Gaines thanking them for their support.

Hon. Kasim Reed, Mayor
