BODIES…The Exhibition Hosts a Sun Safety Seminar on Saturday, Despite Rainy Forecast

"As people spend more time in the sun during the summer, we want to remind our visitors how important it is to protect their skin,"

It feels like the sun has been hiding from the metro Atlanta area for weeks now, but just because it's hiding does not mean you shouldn't want to learn about its power.

On Saturday, July 13th BODIES… The Exhibition will host a Sun Safety Seminar at 1 p.m. to help educate visitors on the harmful effects over exposure from the sun and heat and how they can affect the systems of the body.

The Sun Safety Seminar will feature Dr. Sulochana Bhandarkar, assistant professor of dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine. She will share information on how to protect your skin from sun damage and skin cancer.

The event will be free to visitors with cost of admission to the Exhibition.  So you can get some tips on how to not become one of the exhibit's dead bodies, or at least how to delay the inevitable for a little while.

“As people spend more time in the sun during the summer, we want to remind our visitors how important it is to protect their skin,” said Dr. Roy Glover, chief medical director and spokesperson for BODIES… The Exhibition

Tickets to BODIES… The Exhibition are available at www.BodiesAtlanta.com and at the Exhibition Box Office.
