Previously canceled due to lack of sponsorship, Delta Airlines, Georgia Natural Gas, Comcast and The Coca-Cola Company have joined forces to save Piedmont Park's screen on the green. Every Thursday in June, bring a friend, a picnic and a blanket and enjoy a movie under the stars. Scheduled movies to begin at dusk:
June 2 - Back to the Future (1985)
June 9 - Imitation of Life (1959)
June 16 - Sixteen Candles (1984)
June 23 - Viewer’s Choice! Frankenstein (1931) or The Birds (1963)
June 30 - Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
Moviegoers are welcome to bring picnic baskets, food and snacks but no glass containers can be brought into Piedmont Park. In consideration of others, please leave pets at home. Umbrellas, high-backed chairs and grills are strictly prohibited.
