Say 'I Do' at Piedmont Park

A quick glimpse at upcoming Piedmont Park happenings including Friday's Landmark Lunch benefit featuring locally-sourced cuisine.

Landmark Lunch is this week as a great turnout is expected on Friday, May 4 in the Promenade at Piedmont Park. Guests, who are encouraged to wear a hat, at this Piedmont Park Conservancy benefit will enjoy locally-sourced cuisine under a grand tent overlooking the spectacular Legacy Fountain.

Atlanta Falcons fullback and environmental advocate Ovie Mughelli and award winning speaker Ira Blumenthal will provide a lively discussion addressing cross-generational sustainability of green space in today's world.

Last year more than 600 friends, neighbors, and business leaders attended the luncheon and this year will continue the tradition. See here for more information.

Countdown to Green Market in Piedmont Park

Piedmont Park's exciting Green Market returns to Atlanta's largest green space on Saturday, May 5. Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., park guests can experience an open-air, local farmer's market featuring baked goods, coffee, artisan cheeses, fresh cut flowers, chef demos and fun for all ages.

Green market encourages sustainable communities in the most basic way - by providing shoppers with direct access to local farmers and merchants.

I Do in the Park

No matter your budget, have your dream wedding in Atlanta’s most beautiful location-picturesque Piedmont Park. All the planning has been taken care of, just bring your partner and up to 20 guests and say “I Do in Piedmont Park!”

The wedding marathon will take place on Saturday, June 16 at Piedmont Park’s Dockside.

This new event is open to weddings, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals and will provide you with all the necessities to create a lifetime of memories for you, your family and friends. Ceremony slots begin at 9 a.m. and are available through 7:30 p.m. Each couple will have up to 45 minutes to include a seated ceremony followed by a champagne toast for you and your guests. Piedmont Park Conservancy and a few of their exceptional preferred vendors will provide the following:

  • Beautiful waterfront Dockside ceremony site
  • Wedding officiant for all denominations
  • Photography service (with option to purchase additional)
  • White ceremony chairs (20)
  • Ceremony music
  • Wedding floral backdrop
  • Choice of brides bouquet for duration of ceremony
  • Wedding planner to assist with ceremony
