A Passion for Piedmont, the 8th annual fundraiser for the the Piedmont Park Conservancy (PPC) promises this week to be an evening of great entertainment in Atlanta’s most beloved greenspace.

“We are thrilled to host Passion at Greystone this year,” said PPC President and CEO, Yvette Bowden. “The renovation of Greystone is a part of our Breaking New Ground expansion project, so it is a great example of how Piedmont Park Conservancy puts member dollars to work,” she added.

PPC is a member and donor funded nonprofit working in partnership with the City of Atlanta to maintain and enhance historic Piedmont Park. Despite the fact that Piedmont Park hosts an estimated 85 percent of all permitted events in the City of Atlanta, including Music Midtown, there is no direct funding from those events supporting the PPC. It is funds from events such as A Passion for Piedmont that more directly support the care and continued maintenance of Piedmont Park.

Founded in 1989, PPC has raised and invested more than $60 million in private funds for Park improvements and today manages more than 90 percent of the overall maintenance and security of Piedmont Park.
