Rain Barrel workshop with Piedmont Park Conservancy on Sept. 24

Today is Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's final push to have Midtown residents register for the Rain Barrel Workshop with the Piedmont Park Conservancy at their Community Center on Sept. 24.  The deadline to register is TODAY, sig-up and learn how you can conserve while keeping your garden beautiful all year long.

According to the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper website, "CRK is partnering with friends throughout the community to emphasize the importance of rainwater harvesting and show how you can make your own rain barrel with hands-on workshops. Participants will be instructed on rain barrel set-up and maintenance and water conservation, and learn about why rain harvesting is especially important in times of drought."
