Now, it's time to bring on the babes.
A movie about parenting that stars Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez has started filming in Midtown.
"What To Expect When You're Expecting" -- a new movie based on the best-selling manual for mothers-to-be -- is filming in Atlanta this summer.
Midtown already seems a desirable spot for movie managers.
On Tuesday, crews were in Midtown shooting scenes at a food truck.
Next week, production will take place on a Midtown residential street.
A resident on Thursday forwarded a notice from a location manager with Uonsgate and WTE Productions Inc. She asked that Patch wait to disclose the location of filming to prevent hoards of "gawkers" from crowding the narrow streets.
The letter to the affected residents said:
"The story is a romantic comedy adaptation of Heidi Murkoff's pregnancy guideline book of the same name. The film tells the story of five couples coping with life's unexpected trials and tribulations when they are 'expecting.'"
The letter assured residents that production crews would try to minimize disruption to the neighborhood.
