New Camera Installed and Additional Lights Coming Soon to Winn Park

The Ansley Park Civic Association has announced that a new camera has been installed near Winn Park, and additional lights are on the way to help make the area safer for Midtown residents.

Jane Harmon, Security Chair, writes:

The camera from the city has been installed at the corner of Lafayette and Peachtree Circle and will pick up the end of Winn Park, Lafayette and some of Peachtree Circle, both north and south.

Lt. Sokloski and I met with Carl McKinney who is the electrical Engineering Supervisor from the Office of Parks, and we suggested 13 new lights in Ansley Park including one which will light the ponds in Winn Park.  Sylvia Attkisson of the Ansley Park Beautification Foundation helped designate the spot for the light in Winn Park.

We would like to thank Captain Henrietta Smith of Zone 5 for her help in getting these security measures in place.
