Keeping it Clean in the Midtown Sky

Our Midtown Pictures of the Day were taken on a windy afternoon this past week of The Proscenium building located at the corner of Peachtree and 14th streets.

It was here that three men were busily performing their duties as skyscraper window washers on the 25-story building. This is a dangerous occupation, but on this day, all three appeared quite relaxed and were working efficiently. One even took a moment to smile and wave to the cameraman.

There is no government licensing for skyscraper window washers in the United States, so anyone can do it. The pay’s decent and you get great views of the city. And if you want a job with constant challenges, this might be the one for you. See here for a listing of the tallest buildings in Atlanta.
