River Revival to Raise Money for Chattahoochee

The 15th annual event will be held at Park Tavern.

Help raise money for the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, an organization that protects and preserves the Chattahoochee River.

The 15th Annual River Revival will raise money for the organization's river patrol and monitoring programs. The event will be held May 19 at in Midtown.

The River Revival features well-known rock artists: Ken Block and Drew Copeland from Sister Hazel, as well as Atlanta band Ponderosa and Nashville band The Kicks.

Tickets are $45 at the door and will include food from Park Tavern, beer from SweetWater Brewery and a one-year membership to Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Sweetwater will debut a new brew at the event -- the Waterkeeper ale.

River Revival also features a silent auction, as well as an awards ceremony. A River Rock Star Award will go to filmmakers Rhett Turner and Jonathan Wickham, who produced "Chattahoochee: From Water War to Water Vision."
