Maybe you’re alone but looking for love. A pair of local events Saturday should provide plenty of opportunity to mix with other singles looking to mingle.

If you believe oysters are an aphrodisiac, then head to Spiral Entertainment's Oysterfest at Park Tavern beginning at noon and heading well into the night. It should be chilly Saturday, but it will be toasty warm under the 8,000 square-foot heated tent, where 4,000 pounds of oysters are ready to be served.

The raw oysters have been flown in fresh from Connecticut (Blue Point Oysters) and Prince Edward Island (Malpeque Oysters), and huge fried and steamed oysters from straight from the Texas coast. There will also be live musical performances by:

  • 2pm: The Issues (local Atlanta rock band)
  • 4pm: Six Shot Revival (southern rock)
  • 6pm: Red Zepplin (Led Zepplin tribute)
  • 8pm: Talk Journey to Me (80s cover band)

Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased here.
