Southern Swap Meet to Raise Funds for Street Food Coalition

Come enjoy street food, art and vendors while raising money for the Atlanta Street Food Coalition.

Support street food in Atlanta.

The Atlanta Street Food Coalition is holding a fundraising event this Saturday. Proceeds will help the coalition lobby for a regulatory system that allows food trucks to operate in Atlanta. Currently, city and county ordinances limit the operation of food trucks.

Called the Southern Swap Meet, the festival will merge food, art and culture at the Goat Farm in West Midtown. It will be held from 2:30 to 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.

The event will feature many of Atlanta's favorite street food vendors including Westside Creamery, Tamale Queen, Grace’s Goodness, Fancy Peanuts, King of Pops and Good Food Truck.

Attendees will enjoy musical performances by Adron, Little Tybee and Cousin Dan, as well as performances from the Dance Truck, The Collective Project Inc. and The Hot Toddies.

Visual artists -- such as Corrina Mensoff, Scott Dupree, Evereman and George Long -- will display their artwork. And vendors including Billy Reid and Sebago will showcase their products.
