Concerns over sinking ground near a bridge on Atlanta’s westside led crews Tuesday evening to close a portion of Howell Mill Road between 14th Street and Huff Road.

All lanes of the road going over the railroad tracks at the intersection have been closed to vehicular traffic until a bridge inspector can look at the road, which appeared to be sinking several inches.
