The Barking Hound Village Foundation Rescue, a Georgia non-profit whose mission “is to save the lives of lost, abandoned, and unwanted dogs in Fulton County that have been passed over by local adopters,” has opened a new adoption and outreach center in West Midtown.
The Urban Pet Project is located in the Westside Provisions district at 720 B 14th Street and will be hosting a grand opening celebration Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Urban Pet Project’s stated mission is to “decrease the number of homeless animals in our community through adoption, education programs, spay/neuter grants, and collaboration with other established rescues.”
Saturday’s celebration will feature food vendors, doggy treats, pet supplies, a dunking booth, free prizes and of course adoptable pets and more.
The public is invited and see here for more information.
