Atlantic Station’s Movies in Central Park Returns Thursday

Georgia Tech's Flicks on Fifth is back for its seventh season giving Midtown residents plenty of opportunities to catch movies under the stars this spring and summer.

Atlantic Station’s Movies in Central Park is back this year coming at you tonight like a fastball straight down the center of the plate.

Beginning May 3, every Thursday night through August, Central Park will be transformed into an outdoor movie amphitheater with movies set to begin at sundown. And it’s free!

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and/or blankets, plus their favorite snacks.

It starts Thursday night with the baseball-themed and Oscar-nominated, “Moneyball.” The remainder of the lineup is below and it’s not the only chance to enjoy movies under the stars this summer.

While Piedmont Park’s Screen on the Green is gone, Georgia Tech’s Flicks on Fifth is back for its seventh season beginning on June 6 with the showing of “Mission Impossible 4.”

Seating is on 5th street between Williams and Spring streets and see here for the rest of the movie schedule set to screen every Wednesday night in June.
