Art is in the Blood

The third annual Art is in the Blood, hosted by Dragonfly the Salon, will once again be a spectacular night that champions the arts and cutting edge fashion while raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). On Thursday, September 13 beginning at 6 p.m. at Park Tavern in the heart of Midtown, guests will sip on signature cocktails and enjoy nibbles provided by Sun In My Belly as they enjoy live art installations by graffiti/street artists SKIE and Kyle Nielsen. View and bid on works by some of Atlanta’s premier artists, including Mendez/MadClout, BORN, Sam Parker, Lynn Raney, and John Shallcross. Attendees can also participate in a silent auction and bid on packages featuring a diverse range of items donated for the cause by Atlanta’s Sam Flax, STK, Spa Sentio, 99X, Seed Factory, the Atlanta Hawks, Aesthetic Specialty Centre, and Cirque du Soleil, among others. The beats of DJs Kevin Owens, Mark Lippert, and Rob Dowell will provide the soundtrack for the night as the stylists of Dragonfly the Salon showcase their most creative and eclectic work during a live runway show. $20 suggested donation at the door with 100% of the proceeds benefiting JDRF. For more information, please visit www.artisintheblood.com.
